The East TN Section of the American Chemical Society and Schulz Bräu Brewing Company are proud to present ACS Sponsored Science Café: The Chemistry of Brewing Beer. Please join us on Wednesday, Oct 11, 2017 at the Schulz Bräu Brewing Company’s Knoxville location to learn about the science behind beer. Guest speaker, Dr. Tracy Hamilton, will examine the history of brewing and provide a step-by-step review of the process. Learn about important flavor components found in beer and the science behind them. Arrive early and grab a bite from one of Knoxville’s food trucks. Individuals 21+ will have an opportunity to purchase locally brewed products.
